Sports writer

My son’s best friend that he grew up with moved to Indiana after he married his college sweetheart. He got a job as a sportswriter for the Indiana Pacers. I would have never thought that a boy that ate dog food with my son as a child would grow up to have such an important job. He was always on the creative side doing the craziest things when he was young. I guess he just took all that creativity and turned it into a job that he honestly loves and makes a great living doing it. My son says he is kind of a big deal up there. He writes for a newspaper and is also on television all the time interviewing famous athletes. I never thought about it before, but when you are in the public eye like he is, you have to be careful when you are out in public. You never know what kind of crazy people might try to do something bad to you or your family. He even had to get a really good security system through home security systems indiana because he didn’t want some psycho bothering his family. I am just happy that this funny crazy friend of my son grew up to be such a great successful guy.
