Falling asleep is something that you might just do, and not think about. It seems like a simple process, right? You get tired, get into bed, and fall asleep. Well that process is not even close to being that easy for me. I find myself thinking about what I need to do the next day, and even stress about stuff that I usually can’t control. Another problem I have is I keep looking at the time, and the hours just seem to go by so quickly. I look at the clock and see 1..2..3..4 AM,etc. I know in the back of my mind that I need to be awake in a few hours, and this just makes it worse.

It’s been a week since I graduated college with a math degree. The last few weeks of the semester were really rough, and it feels great that I’m actually done. My graduation party was on Saturday night, and I can’t believe all of the great gifts that I got. From the iPhone to the new watch, I’m thankful for everything I got. I’m especially thankful for my new seat covers for my car, which I’m absolutely in love with. These aren’t any ordinary seat covers, but they are made of sheepskin.

When I think about what type of props that I have used in math classes, I think of calculators and protractors. Even to someone who’s really good at math, this can definitely seem boring. I was one of the students who struggled  with math, no matter what grade I was in. Perhaps it might have been because I found math so boring, and I wasn’t motivated to want to become better at math.
