When you think of a website like Yahoo, you would assume that they have workers with the proper type of education. Well that’s what I thought too, until I found out that the CEO doesn’t have a computer science degree. I was surprised at this, but it honestly doesn’t bother me as much as it may bother others. If it wasn’t posted on the internet that he didn’t have this degree, then no one would have ever known. If the CEO is doing his job well, then does it really matter if he doesn’t have a specific kind of degree?

It’s not like now that we know the truth, he’s now going to do his job differently. I really think people shouldn’t be so hard on him, simply because he doesn’t have a degree that he’s “supposed to have”. Even if he doesn’t have the right type of education, I’m going to assume that he has some type of experience that has lead him to be able to have such a high position at such a great company. Sometimes experience means a lot more than what type of education you received, and this could be a perfect example of this.
