Falling asleep is something that you might just do, and not think about. It seems like a simple process, right? You get tired, get into bed, and fall asleep. Well that process is not even close to being that easy for me. I find myself thinking about what I need to do the next day, and even stress about stuff that I usually can’t control. Another problem I have is I keep looking at the time, and the hours just seem to go by so quickly. I look at the clock and see 1..2..3..4 AM,etc. I know in the back of my mind that I need to be awake in a few hours, and this just makes it worse.
I’ve been researching ways to fall asleep naturally, and I will try anything at this point. I will be trying yoga nidra, because I’ve heard that it actually works. I will be very thankful if it does, because I’ve tried so many different techniques, and nothing has worked.
