ocial media is everywhere. It has become something that doesn’t need to be advertised and yet every company freely advertises many social media sites in the process of advertising their own company. Social media now touches every piece of my life.
IT Support After College
Published August 7, 2012 | I just graduated from college and one of the things that I will miss most about living on campus is the free computer support. It’s not just that it was free, it was also incredibly convenient, with staff members that I could trust. If I had a problem I knew that I could easily drop my laptop off on campus or have someone look at in in the IT office. This was very comforting to me when I had twenty page papers to write and powerpoint presentations to create. The only downside was that sometimes in order to get real help I had to go through students who didn’t know a thing about computers. I didn’t blame them though, because I knew they probably just got stuck working in IT for work study. No matter what I always made it to someone who could help me, and since it was free I could not have asked for more. Now that I no longer have the safety net my school once provided for me, the choice of where to go for computer support is somewhat disheartening. There are so many places to choose from and it’s hard to decide which ones are reliable. I hear so many horror stories from friends who pay a fortune just to have their laptop looked at in store, only to find out these “professionals” can’t actually help them at all.

A Free Lottery for All
Published August 6, 2012 | My father and I are always trying to find that groundbreaking seed of an idea that turns out to be worth millions. We make notes on what is selling fast online and on the websites that are getting the most hits, we also think about the things in our everyday lives that could be improved upon. If I see an article about new money making idea I send it to him and vice versa. I also love websites where people share their own experiences of formulating successful ideas with in-depth descriptions or videos documenting their process. I study the ways that other people have made a name for themselves, so that I may put these methods to use with my own talents. After all the time I have spent in researching how others made it big, I believe one key factor in coming up with my own original idea is in keeping my mind open and readily aware of the possibilities around me. This morning while I was waiting for the train a woman started talking to me about how she wanted to start a blog with all the inspirational experiences and stories she had gathered over the years. I was able to give her some advice on good blogging websites, and somehow this turned into giving her names of sites she could make money off of online. Suddenly, she had a notebook out and was jotting down all of the names I was telling her. Just like me she knew that the internet holds so many possibilities, and just like me she was constantly searching for the opportunity of a lifetime. I sometimes feel like the internet provides a free lottery for us all, the chances of winning are small but the prize is great.
